The department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering offers course B.E. program with an intake of 60 students. The department is involved in teaching and research in current areas of development. The department has been giving importance to the development of Electrical labs by procuring the state of art hard ware and machinery. The faculty members published technical papers in national and international conferences, and journals. The department is fortunate to have dedicated teachers, devoted students, and committed supporting staff and expert technical staff. The Electrical Engineering department has a complement of five laboratories that cater to the entire gamut of experimental work for the BE degree course. Several special experimental set-ups are created from time to time which serve to create interest in students. Qualified faculty continuously supervises lab work. The students are expected to study beyond mere standard experiments.
In addition to class room teaching, the students are exposed to extension lectures by eminent persons in the field of Electrical Engineering, Power Systems etc. The student association of the Department is actively working with the noble cause of bringing Electrical awareness among the general public. The department encourages the student to participate in various state and national level events every year.
The basic motive behind the Department of Electronics Engineering is to impart high quality education and spawn eminent graduate to carry out leading-edge research in these discipline of Engineering.
